The Adventure

Classic lines and supple curves have always been powerfully persuasive to the human psyche. So what if a classic Mustang convertible could get better gas mileage than a Prius, would you be interested?   The world is changing and we must evolve, fuel efficient used to mean boring “econobox”.  This new technology increases horsepower and mileage so feel free to get a little excited about saving energy!

We are building an international team of installer/dealers Would you like to work with us?

Join our Network of Installer/Dealers

We plan to test that theory this summer, stay tuned to http://YouTube.com/WaterCarMovie and join us on the adventure of a lifetime as Schappert’s team pushes the limits on fuel efficiency in an effort to wean the world off oil. This grass roots, rag tag team will put it all on the line without much more than pocket change and clean underwear while they tour more than 46 cities in 30 days.  Meeting with mechanics, scientists and manufacturers to try and unlock the secret to allowing your car and home to use water for fuel.  The car will be worked on as we go, getting stronger and more efficient every day.  Can you give us an hour of your expertise?

The car, affectionately referred to as “Frankie” due to all the welds that remind us of Frankenstein is not the prettiest car on the road sporting a few coats of black primer, but at its heart is a Ford straight 6 with a never say die attitude.  The driver, Steve Schappert has alot in common with the car instead of welds Schappert was put back together with stitches, staples, braces, casts and even bolts in his skull. The same never say die attitude has brought him this far will continue to push him forward.  Are you interested in making  a difference while making  a living? Contact us today!ep w

Our Mission

Using Water For Fuel

The Mission: Free the world from its dependence on oil.

Concept: To support all inventors and manufacturers in the HHO (water for fuel) industry. We plan to do this by sharing and inspiring, researching, developing and marketing the industry. In addition we will document and report the performance of HHO Systems to increase awareness among the general public about a fuel source that could take the place of gasoline in this lifetime.

Sharing and Inspiring: BiosWaterCar.com will be developed as a portal with links to all available technologies. Access to inventors and manufacturers to share and ask questions will be free of charge, there will be advertising opportunities as well.

Marketing: BIOS WaterCar has been successful in getting a great deal of publicity right from the start with appearances on ABC & NBC News, CNN Radio, Change makers Radio, The Dave Elliot Show, Just4theplanet, and several blogtalk radio shows. BIOS WaterCar can also be found on all major social media, including, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Myspace, PickensPlan and Peoplestring, On the web we promote Bioswatercar.com and Watercarmovie.com. WaterCar Movie will be a full length documentary. The Original BIOS WaterCar has already been invited to many large venues such as the Hartford Home show at the Expo Center, as well as numerous auto shows. The project has already received international acclaim and has a fan base on Face book of over 3800 people making it the largest HHO technology group having 6 times more fans than the second largest group and the project is only 3 months old.

Research and Development: All existing technologies will be examined and tested. Our in house R&D department will then post comments, comparisons and go the extra step of combining various technologies to create the best possible solution.

Sponsors: There are many opportunities for sponsors. Several test vehicles will be promoted throughout the world. The technology will be applied to all transportation including automotive, marine and aviation. Similar to race cars the craft will be lettered with sponsor logos. The vehicles and craft will be on a tour schedule to build awareness. The branding and co-marketing possibilities are almost endless for your company by teaming up with BIOS Watercar through all possible media.

Sponsorship goals: Our goal is to raise $10,000,000 in the next year for research, development and marketing. (For break down see addendum on page 3)

Our customers will come from all walks of life and the future of the business and industry appear to be very bright. The industry has had a cloud over it for 15 years since the mysterious passing of the original inventor of the technology. Recently Dan Nocera, of MIT received a 4 million dollar grant from the recovery act to study the technology, and dozens of manufacturers have sprung up. Currently there is no clear market leader, in an obscure industry.

The project will incorporate 4 test vehicles, the original BIOS WaterCar is a 72’ Mustang convertible, there is also a 2000 Cherokee, a Peterbuilt tractor trailer and a new sedan yet to be determined. Four systems will be developed or marketed to address different types of vehicles. The four types are diesel (will need a MAP/ MAF sensor), automobiles with carburetors, and both wide and narrow band fuel injection. There will be two phases of development, first being a mileage booster or hybrid and then a 100% system will be launched.

BIOS WaterCar is a division of The BIOS Organization which is being structured as a social business enterprise, which in short is a self financed nonprofit. This business will create a network of installers and distributors for all manufacturers. Our goal is to share as much information as possible with everyone and watch the big boys step in and mass market, driving prices down, advancing technology at light speed to get us off our dependence on oil. Instead of gambling on which technology and manufacturer will come out on top we will build our brand as a supplier and installer. Our marketing edge: we gave the technology away for the betterment of mankind; you trust us to work on your car!

There are several industries successfully integrating this technology, welding, home heating, power plants and automotive. BIOS will become a clearing house for technology sharing everything with the world. The purpose of the project is to get people to work together in a common goal of freeing our world from its dependence on oil. Can one million minds working together find the answer to the energy crisis?

Typically scientists work alone, I am asking everyone to work together, share ideas, create a worldwide think tank with one goal. Use the universe’s most abundant element to create safe, useful energy…hydrogen on demand. Hydrogen made on site without need for dangerous storage tanks.

ADDENDUM:

Sponsorship goals: Our goal is to raise $10,000,000 in the next year for research, development and marketing. We hope to secure financing commitments within the following time frame.

30 days: $100,000

Oxyhydrogen – Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

“Knallgas” redirects here. For bacteria which oxidize hydrogen, see Knallgas-bacteria.

Nineteenth century electrolytic cell for producing oxyhydrogen.

Oxyhydrogen is a mixture of hydrogen (H2) and oxygen (O2) gases, typically in a 2:1 molar ratio, the same proportion as water.[1] This gaseous mixture is used for torches for the processing of refractory materials and was the first [2] gaseous mixture used for welding. In practice a ratio of 4:1 or 5:1 hydrogen:oxygen is required to avoid an oxidizing flame.[3]

[edit]Properties

Oxyhydrogen will combust when brought to its autoignition temperature. For a stoichiometric mixture at normal atmospheric pressure, autoignition occurs at about 570 °C (1065 °F).[4] The minimum energy required to ignite such a mixture with a spark is about 20 microjoules.[4] At standard temperature and pressure, oxyhydrogen can burn when it is between about 4% and 95% hydrogen by volume.[4]

When ignited, the gas mixture converts to water vapor and releases energy, which sustains the reaction: 241.8 kJ of energy (LHV) for every mole of H2 burned. The amount of heat energy released is independent of the mode of combustion, but the temperature of the flame varies.[1] The maximum temperature of about 2800 °C is achieved with a pure stoichiometric mixture, about 700 degrees hotter than a hydrogen flame in air.[5][6][7] When either of the gases are mixed in excess of this ratio, or when mixed with an inert gas like nitrogen, the heat must spread throughout a greater quantity of matter and the temperature will be lower.[1]

[edit]Production

A pure stoichiometric mixture may be obtained by water electrolysis, which uses an electric current to dissociate the water molecules:

electrolysis: 2 H2O → 2 H2 + O2

combustion: 2 H2 + O2 → 2 H2O

William Nicholson was the first to decompose water in this manner in 1800. The energy required to generate the oxyhydrogen always exceeds the energy released by combusting it. (See Electrolysis of water#Efficiency).

[edit]Applications

Limelights used an oxyhydrogen flame as a high-temperature heat source

[edit]Lighting

Many forms of oxyhydrogen lamps have been described, such as the limelight, which used an oxyhydrogen flame to heat a piece of lime to white hot incandescence.[8] Because of the explosiveness of the oxyhydrogen, limelights have been replaced by electric lighting.

Oxyhydrogen was once used in working platinum because at the time such a torch was the only device that could attain the temperature required to melt the metal (1768.3 °C).[1] These techniques have been superseded by the electric arc furnace.

[edit]Oxyhydrogen blowpipe

Nineteenth century bellows-operated oxy-hydrogen blowpipe, including two different types of flashback arrestor

The oxy-hydrogen blowpipe was developed by English mineralogist Edward Daniel Clarke and American chemist Robert Hare in the early nineteenth century. It produced a flame hot enough to melt such refractory materials as platinum, porcelain, and fire brick, and was a valuable tool in several fields of science.[9]

[edit]Oxyhydrogen torch

An oxyhydrogen torch is an oxy-gas torch, which burns hydrogen (the fuel) with oxygen (the oxidizer). It is used for cutting and welding[10] metals, glass, and thermoplastics.[8]

Due to competition from the acetylene-fueled cutting torch and from arc welding, the oxyhydrogen torch is seldom used today, but it remains the preferred cutting tool in some niche applications—see oxy-fuel welding and cutting.

[edit]Water torch

A “water torch” is a portable oxyhydrogen torch that combines a DC power supply and an electrolytic cell with a pressure gauge and flashback arrestor. Water is decomposed on-demand into oxyhydrogen, obviating the need for separate hydrogen and oxygen tanks. The original was designed in 1962 by William Rhodes and Raymond Henes of the Henes Manufacturing Co.[11] (now Arizona Hydrogen Manufacturing, Inc.) and marketed under the trade mark “Water Welder”. A hypodermic needle was originally used for the torch tip.

[edit]Fringe science and fraud

Oxyhydrogen is sometimes referred to as “Brown’s Gas” after Yull Brown who advocated such devices,[12] or “HHO gas” after the claims of fringe physicist[13] Ruggero Santilli.

Oxyhydrogen is also often mentioned in conjunction with devices that claim to operate a vehicle using water as a fuel. The most common and decisive counter-argument against producing this gas on-board to use as a fuel or fuel additive is that the energy required to split water molecules exceeds the energy recouped by burning it.[14]

This should also not be confused with hydrogen-fueled cars where the hydrogen is produced elsewhere and used as fuel or where it is used as as fuel enhancement.

Hydro Fuel Generator provides state of the art Next Generation Hydrogen Technologies – With the costs of gasoline and diesel on the rise (again), “Hydrogen Generators” are not a new concept, but continue becoming more popular. On-board hydrogen devices designed to improve fuel mileage have been around for some time now. Research into the benefits of hydrogen injection in an internal combustion engine was completed over 40 years ago by NASA and many others. Many companies and websites are eager to promote this technology as the newest thing.

With many searching for ways to go green and save money, a hydrogen generator is a very useful way to do both. Given the bad publicity some fuel kits have gotten because of a few bad marketers making false statements like “run your car on nothing but water” or “use water for fuel”. Until the arrival of the Hydrogen Economy, this technology wasn’t readily available or affordable to the business owner or consumer.

At Hydro Fuel Generator, we market a compact and innovative Hydrogen Generator, the Black Box Hydrogen Fuel Cell. This “patent pending” oxy – hydrogen generator is capable of producing more Brown’s Gas compared to most other designs available to the Transportation aftermarket. The combination of hydrogen and fuel gases results in enhanced combustion improving mileage, power and reducing emissions. Our customers have realized fuel mileage gains of 35% and more.

See why the Black Box Hydrogen Fuel Cell is more efficient and produces more HHO than most competing hydrogen generators on the market today. See “Black Box Hydrogen Difference

Why Advanced PWM? – AdvancedPWM

Why Choose Advanced PWM?

Experience: full time electronics technician and electrical engineer since 1980.  R&D experience includes new product development for General Electric, Magnetek, PEI Pentastar.

Education: Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering and Technology, Purdue University 1999.

Integrity: all products carry a sixty day limited warranty.

Honesty: all products have their test and evaluation data published on this web site.  Parameter data include ambient test conditions, model number and serial number of test equipment used, date of test equipment calibration.  All thermal performance specifications are verified and video of the test is here on this web site.

Design Philosophy: Advanced PWM recognizes that although low cost can be achieved by many, high reliability designs require extensive insight and experience.  Only two components commonly found in PWM electronics intrinsically have a rated lifetime: the electrolytic capacitor and the fan.  All other components have a lifetime that is primarily affected only by the skill and foresight of the designer.  Because of this, Advanced PWM set out to become the first PWM manufacturer supplying a fully enclosed system requiring no fan.  Most small DC brushless fans are rated in thousands of hours under standard atmospheric conditions: room temperature, minor vibration level, humidity limited to less than non-condensing.

But in real life, many PWM supplies are installed where high temperatures and condensing humidity levels may be found, such as under the hood or chassis.  Usually, when the fan dies, the PWM dies.  Properly rated capacitors plus no fan equals superior reliability.

Competence: all systems are to have no instability during current limiting (waveform will not break into oscillations).  All systems use premium components.  Electrolytic capacitors have had lifetime calculations performed insuring capacitor lifetime >> 10,000 hours.  Small signal integrity of millivolt level feedback signals are ensured by industry standard methods not mentioned and probably not known by other PWM providers.  Our product is the only PWM I’ve seen that mentions that it is (mechanically and electrically) assembled at a grounded ESD protected station.

Thermal performance tests are available online to view as videos.  Connectors are rated properly for the load currents carried.  (1/4″ “faston” style male spade/female connectors are inapropriate for most PWM current ratings.

For professional engineering concurrence see

http://www.scribd.com/doc/19138083/Busbar-Design-Guide page 12, table six.)  Also ask any refrigeration or A/C repair technician about whether these type of terminals that supply similar currents levels to the A/C compressor are known to burn up or overheat and then corrode in real life situations.)

Relevant advertising methods: why no pictures of exotic, expensive sport cars on this site?  Because with a superior product we don’t have to make the false implications that our product can give your car the performance and “sex appeal” of a Maserati.

Or maybe, do the other PWM producers want you to feel that there is some degree of correspondence between the design skills of the engineer that designed the sports car and the skill of those that produce most other available PWM’s?

For collaboration: please contact sales@advancedpwm.com to inquire into our ability to help you with your own project design, development and printed wiring board layout.  I do my own board layout using two different board layout softwares with pwb production provided by two different board houses.

One  board house specializes in very rapid turnaround, the other offers advanced options including varied platings, controlled impedance, UL compliance certification, etc.

The BIOS WaterCar

The Goal: Work with many to develop a reliable system, give the technology away, allowing the system to spread wide and far and develop an international installation network that will offer to double people’s gas mileage or their money back guaranteed.

11/9/2010  BIOS WaterCar registers a 57.6% increase today over the car’s base gas mileage by breaking tap water down into hydrogen and oxygen with 90 amps at 12 volts. Drove 60.3 miles on 2.25 gallons for an average of 26.8 mpg. The cars baseline is 17 mpg.

We don’t have all the answers yet, but we keep moving forward  learning, experimenting and evaluating HHO technology. You can count on the BIOS WaterCar project to provide accurate information about this amazing technology.  We will share the good the bad and the ugly as well as the triumphs.  With a little help from my friends this project has produced a 72′ Mustang that has increased its gas mileage by 38% and we just got started.  We started our road trip with a unit that was donated by a manufacturer it didn’t work and we couldn’t get any help from the manufacturer, so in front of the TV cameras we said it doesn’t work and we ripped it out and built a custom unit with Kevin West.  We immediately saw a 17% increase in gas mileage. After pushing that unit to the limits I burned a hole in it, rebuilt it, added 3 teaspoons of sodium hydroxide and got 38% increase from 17 to 23.8 miles per gallon.

On November 9th I flushed the sodium hydroxide out of the tank and ran straight tap water registering a 57.6% increase over the car’s base gas mileage by breaking tap water down into hydrogen and oxygen with 90 amps at 12 volts. Drove 60.3 miles on 2.25 gallons for an average of 26.8 mpg. The project continues, and we are looking for marketing and technology partners to take a stand and make a difference.  Pink Monkey Water has pledged $100,000 for technology and hardware.  I have seen real results and this project was created to separate myth from reality…stay tuned!

The BIOS WaterCar has been featured on TV and radio dozens of times during or road trip in July.  We have now been invited to attend over 2 dozen home shows in the next few months and now provides a great marketing opportunity for your green business.  Contact us today to see how we can help each other.

“Faith in yourself, spread one person at a time becomes faith in each other and creates a ripple.”  It’s time to stand up for change!      Learn about the basic construction of a hydrogen generator.

How You Can Help:  You can start at home and help us by helping yourself.  We can help you save money on your electric and energy bills by scheduling an energy audit for you and helping you switch from the utility to a low cost electric provider.  You can also help by volunteering and simply spreading the word, join us on Facebook, YouTube or Twitter…together we can make a difference!  To learn more about saving money on your electric bill and making your home more energy efficient go to  http://BiosEnergySystems.com.
